This will prevent the Ghost bidder from registering with another account in the future We do this to protect the GOOD bidders, and to protect our consigners from lost sales BUYERS PREMIUM: Online Auctions are subject to a 20% Buyers Premium. A buyers premium is also known as buyers portion of commission is a fee added on to your bid amount. Be sure to factor the BP into your bids when bidding. For example if you bid $10, the BP is $2.00 additional so you are actual bidding $12.00. Taxes are applicable to the buyers premium. REVIEWING YOUR BIDS: During an auction you can check the status of your bids at anytime. Note that no bids can be withdrawn after the auction closes for any reason. All items are sold as is, where is, with all faults with no guarantees that any item is fit for a particular use. All bids are legally binding and enforceable in Nova Scotia, Canada. BIDDING NOTIFICATIONS: You can choose to be notified by e-mail during the auction if you have been outbid. To prevent a bidder from 'sniping', all bids made in the last minute of the auction will force an item to stay open for an additional 4 minutes. This will continue until all bidding has ceased. STRATEGY: Bidding is similar to eBay type auctions. We recommend that ALL BIDDERS put in their maximum bid when placing a bid online. This does not mean you will have to pay the amount you bid; you only pay one bid more than the next highest bid, and only up to your maximum bid. The software system will play out the bids as you would at a live auction and only uses the funds required to beat out the under-bidder at the prescribed bid increment. Shipping Insurance This is IMPORTANT READ THIS Anything over 200.00 we automatically add 200.00 insurance(+22.00) to that parcel, anything below we do not.
