If you are the successful bidder we will assume you are paying by credit card and we reserve the right to charge your credit card for the total invoice. We run credit cards the morning after each auction and you will be emailed a copy of your receipt by 10 am that day. If you want to pay by e-transfer, debit, cash, etc. you MUST write this in the "notes to auctioneer" prior to registering for each auction. If we have not received the alternate form of payment by 12 pm the day following the auction we will charge the credit card on file. E-transfers are to be sent to darren@mckenzieauction.com. We have auto deposit. Once the e-transfer is received we will send you a paid receipt. BIDDERS ARE REPONSIBLE FOR PAYING FOR THEIR PURCHASES AND MAKING PAYMENT THE DAY AFTER THE AUCTION. IF A BIDDER DOES NOT PAY FOR THEIR ITEMS THEY BID ON, THE BIDDER WILL BE BLOCKED FROM BIDDING IN THE FUTURE. THE OUTSTANDING INVOICE WILL ALSO BE SENT TO A COLLECTIONS AGENCY FOR THE LOSS OF COMMISSION AND LOSS OF BUYERS FEE OF THE ITEMS. Any items not picked up during the specified pick-up dates and times will be considered abandoned and will be resold for storage fees. We will hold items for a maximum of 1 week from the date of the auction (items are NOT available after this time). Inspect all items prior to leaving the premise. Make sure you have ALL items. SHIPPING: If you would like your items shipped, please put "shipping required" in the "notes to auctioneer" upon registration for each auction. We are not able to give shipping quotes ahead of time as it is based on the location / size / weight of the item(s) once they are processed for shipping. Our MINIMUM shipping charge is $22.60 and it goes up from there. If you request shipping and then decide to cancel shipping AFTER it has already been processed there will be an admin fee of $16.95 charged for the work required to process the shipment. Unless told otherwise in writing, all shipments will be sent to the address you have on file. You are responsible to keep this up to date. We do not ship to US bidders. RETURNS: If you have an issue with a purchased item, you must email aa@mckenzieauction.com for approval to bring the item back. All returns are subject for REVIEW before a refund is agreed to. You have one week from the date of the sale to email, get approval, and return the item. Please review items as soon as possible. If you are bringing back an item more then one week from the sale date (maximum of 30 days), you will be charged a 30% admin fee on the return. Please note, if a return is denied you will have 2 weeks from when you receive notification to pick the item back up. SOFT CLOSE: Items close at regular intervals. To prevent a bidder from 'sniping', all bids made in the last minute of the auction will force an item to stay open for an additional 2 minutes. This will continue until all bidding has ceased. STRATEGY: We recommend that ALL BIDDERS put in their maximum bid when placing a bid online. This does not mean you will have to pay the amount you bid; you only pay one bid more than the next highest bid, and only up to your maximum bid. The software system will play out the bids as you would at a live auction and only uses the funds required to beat out the under-bidder at the prescribed bid increment. Shipping is available for this auction within Canada at the buyer's expense. We do not offer shipping to USA. If you are in USA - Do not bid in this auction. ALL ITEMS ARE SHIPPED AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION. INSURANCE WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY CHARGED TO INVOICES OVER $100. IF THEY ARE LOST/STOLEN AFTER THEY LEAVE OUR FACILITY, WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE. All items are sold as is and uninspected, please keep in mind this is a returned merchandise auction. If you must return an item (and are approved to do so) you have to pay for the return shipping cost, we are not responsible for this cost. If you require shipping, upon registration you must put under "notes to auctioneer" - Shipping. If you do not list shipping, we will not know we have to ship the items to you. We will NEVER assume shipping is required. Important - please make sure your address on the receipt is the address we are shipping to; we are shipping to the address on your receipt and are not responsible if the items go to the wrong address. We charge the credit card automatically for shipping costs. We will not send a price ahead of time, we cannot give quotes, and we do not send shipping invoices. **Please remember - we dispose of items 1 week after the auction, if you have not told us that your items need to be shipped, they will be disposed of 1 week after the auction. Please note we cannot hold items for multiple auctions to ship due to space. Shipping is at your expense, we charge you what the shipping company charges us plus an admin fee for getting your items ready to be shipped (we do not have a set admin fee, it depends on the work involved for each shipment), plus HST. Remember it is expensive to send large or heavy items please keep that in mind when placing your bids. The shipping costs could easily be $100 or more to ship large or heavy items. UPS may refuse to ship large or irregular packages. If items are returned to us from the shipper for unknown reasons, your credit card will be charged again to send the items out again.
