**DESCRIPTION FROM CONSIGNOR**
Nothing in this auction is modern. Every lot has desirable vintage collectables. This auction is meant to be both fun and affordable but advanced collectors will easily be able to weed out the many, many diamonds that lay in the rough. All lots will start at a dollar and increments will be 50 cents! You will find lots you are interested in regularly throughout the auction.
Canada and the Provinces are well represented. From key date pennies to Victoria, Edward VII, George V, George VI and Elizabeth II silver. Many scarce and valuable early stamps are also to be found. There are vintage Bank of Canada notes including some asterisk replacements. There is a scarce Nova Scotia stamp plus Newfoundland coins and stamps; some key issues are included.
United States has many Indian Head pennies and Buffalo / Indian Head nickels. There is a nice Morgan dollar, the most collected coin on earth. There are a couple of scarce Hawaii stamps as well.
Great Britain has nice early farthings through to Victoria and George III shillings. The highlight being a beautiful high grade key date 1915 Florin. Two very old Victorian stamps are included.
World material has an interesting selection of coins, stamps and bank notes. There is historically significant material from the Third Reich and vintage European material. The world highlight is a scarce 1894 South Africa two shillings made rare and unique by engraving of the era.
The hockey cards are in lots of four, all from the 1970’s. Each lot features a combination of big name stars, goalies, rookies or other key cards. Every lot has at the very least one Hall of Fame star.
This is an auction that definitely has something for everyone!
**NOTE REGARDING CONDITION** This consignor has been dealing in these collectables since 1969 and will do his best to be accurate when describing the condition of any item in this auction. Highly defined pictures and scans of the front and back of all items where it is necessary will be provided. This consignor has a trusted reputation, which you can verify by looking at feedback reviews on all three of his eBay user IDs: thelesneydude, pre1961comics and j.r.canadiancurrency. In any event, condition is always an opinion and there is no guarantee that a third party grading service or even another person will agree. Please use your own judgment and review the information provided carefully. If you have any questions regarding the condition of an item, please contact us in advance of the auction's end date.
THANK YOU FOR BIDDING!
